Lombardi Tasting Last Week

April 6th, 2009

Last week, Nancy from Lombardi was at Springhill last week tasting the delicious Cream of Lemoncello. For those of you who don’t know, this liqueur is made right here in Arkansas by “The Italian Couple”. Check out their website for more info and great recipe ideas.

Lombardi Lemoncello needs to be placed at a cautionary level. Yes it tastes great! Be cautious, place your bottle at room temperature on a shelf and watch what occurs . After 2 cmonths you will notice merky thick liquid inside the bottle, after 2 more months it becomes thicker, after a year unable to pour from the bottle! Its a test everyone can perform, I have 2 bottles that are over a year old, I notified Glazer Distributors in Texas, main office. Beware, not sure if this is a health hazard as I will not drink it!

    Raymond,
It is true that Lombardi had some issues with their Cream of Lemoncello separating. According to Lombardi, there are no health hazards connected to this. Also, they claimed to have fixed this problem and separation no longer occurs in their products. If you bought a bottle of Lombardi that separated at Springhill, we will be more than happy to exchange it for you. Thanks for letting us know about your experience!
